Shoot And Move

In woodsball if you can master running and shooting at the same time that will be to your advantage! It may seem really easy but its one thing that take a lot of practice in paintball. When you see someone you shoot and move so that way you dont get stuck behind a bunker and it will be harder for your opponent to get it.

View The Field

If you are playing paintball at a new woodsball field that you have never played at before one advantage for you would be to go on the field and check it out before the game starts. Look for good fortifying positions and spots to hide. 

Chose a Role

What I mean by chose a role is say you are the person who likes to shoot lots of paint then you can be a machine gunner which means when you see somebody you keep your finger on the trigger and make it so they cant move anywhere.  If you like to stay in one place then be a sniper. Try to master your accuracy, and if you like to be sneaky you can be the person that flanks the other team!

Communicate

In order to improve your game in woodsball you need to communicate with other players outside the field. An effective woodsball player talks with other woodsball players, to learn more types of Tactics and Strategies. Along with skills and ideas on how to play the game!

What I mean by "Be Ready" is in Woodsball anything can happen. You could be the last man on your team and you need to make that risky move! So be ready to do whatever it takes to win! As well as be able to take charge of your team, the best player may go out so you need to step up to the plate and make a move!

Never Go Out!

In Woodsball you want to be quite and not let the other team know where you are. One thing that many people do in paintball is they call them self out when they are out of paint or air. The key to Woodsball is stay in! Many people say you would be stupid to stay in the game if you don't have anything to shoot with, well in fact it smart of you to stay in. Because you can still get people out by sneaking up behind your opponent and putting your gun to there back and say surrender. Also if you are playing a game scenario like capture the flag then you would be a great person to run and get the flag while your team cover fires you because you don't have your gun you will be way faster! You want to do anything you can to help out your team because in paintball your team is your family! The person beside you has your back no matter what.

The Marker

In order to be an effective player in Woodsball you need to have the Marker! Your paintball marker is like your best friend. This is what takes out the other players and keeps that person behind the bunker! Work as a Team

The First tip in Woodsball Tactics I have for you is work as a team! The most effective woodsball players are also the most effective team players. It is way easier to take out 1 players if you have 3 because you can corner them! You have more angles to shoot from to take of your opponent. That is the key to Woodsball.
